Needle Felted Dryer Balls
Learn the basics of needle felting in this hands-on class. Students will apply yarn and/or roving to pre-made dryer balls using felting needles. This is done largely free-form, but lots of examples for inspiration will be provided. Once the student is happy with the design on their dryer ball, we'll pop them in some nylon hose. With water and soap, students will agitate the dryer balls so that the roving or yarn stays attached. At home, students will run the felted dryer balls through a hot dryer to finish the felting process.
